FRENCH ART IN MIDWESTERN MUSEUMS
United States. 20 guests.
Arts up crosses the Atlantic for its clients! During an exceptional eight-day trip, twenty participants had the opportunity to follow a real adventure about French and European art in the heart of the United States.
The Friends of the Louvre visited no less than five different states (Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Missouri), six cities and seven museums on this topic.
A Franco-American guide and the Arts up team were on site during the trip, and the participants were systematically accompanied in their visits by the curators of the various cultural departments of the museums. The Director of European Collections at the Kimbell Art Museum in Forth Worth, Texas, also joined the group.
The group also had exclusive meetings with the French gallery owners and were able to visit their private collections in the gallery owners’ own home.
Last but not least, Arts up ensured that all participants were comfortable, enjoying the best historical and Michelin-starred establishments and experiencing the local gastronomy at the best tables.
